Volunteer Opportunities

RESA Thrift Shop Tag Icon

Thrift Shop:

NEEDS: Tagging clothes, placing merchandise on shelves, sorting donations, and light clean up around the shop. Occasional Night Crew for busy seasons. We appreciate any help you could offer, especially in aiding our RESA employees in keeping the Thrift Shop running smoothly.

Meals for Members

Meals for Members: Sometimes life just happens and we want to be able to be there for each other when it does. If you just had a baby, just got out of the hospital, quarantined, or any situation that you find overwhelming and need a little time to breathe and take a break, maybe a few meals for 2-3 days can help alleviate that stress.

NEEDS: A meal or two and meal delivery.

Food Donation: These and other food donation volunteer opportunities are happening all the time with RESA.

NEEDS: Shop and prepare themed meals and treats for a specific event. Save your receipts for reimbursement when turned in to our Welfare Treasurer. All hours spent shopping, actively cooking, and dropping off count for your volunteer hours.

RESA Promotion Events: These events are a fun way to get those hours in.

NEEDS: Help promote RESA through sharing your experiences or simply aiding with other marketing/promotional needs such as manning the tables, handing out flyers and giveaways, etc.

Community Events: These are Community Events that are requesting for RESA’s volunteer support. This can be one of the most rewarding opportunities and experiences at the KMC!

NEEDS: From assisting deployed families enjoying an evening out, to serving Airmen celebrating a special birthday meal, and helping school kids with various events throughout the year.
